November 2002 Contest Winner:
Hi shoppers, we'd like to announce the winner of the November PSS shopper contest.
In November we asked shoppers to send what their dream mystery shop would be and why. Our winner was Janet Bolan of IN. This imaginative shopper gets $10 in her PayPal account for taking the time to tell us about her dream shop! Congratulations, Janet, and we hope you someday get that dream mystery shop and that PSS will be able to schedule you for it!
PSS did not hold a shopper contest in December 2002.
As you enjoy reading our winning November entry below, please send in your January 2003 entries for our first contest of the new year:
January shopper contest:
This month (Jan. 2003) we'd like to hear what is the most embarrassing or funny thing your child has done while taking them on a mystery shop? Send all entries by January 31, 2003 to: cheryl@palmschedulingservices.com
Ideas for future shopper contests are always welcome and appreciated.
November 2002 PSS shopper contest winner:
My Dream Mystery Shop: To come up with my dream mystery shop, I have thought of all the ones that are nighmares in my head and decided to write about shops that would be the opposite.
Remember, this is a dream that will probably never be a reality!
First of all, I would like to be required to arrive at the location via limousine. Of course, the mystery shopping company would only provide the best. The scenario would call for me to dress in great fashions, again provided by the mystery shopping company. Or better yet, to be bought while shopping Saks Fifth Avenue. Nothing like free clothes and a fee! I arrive at the shop and it is a resort that caters to celebrities. I must evaluate the beauty salon and spa, personal trainers, pool, sauna, gourmet restaurant, accomodations, and gift shop. Every one of my favorite bands happens to be performing there, and all concerts must be evaluated. The shop forms are nothing like what we've ever experienced. They are submitted telepathically - no typing, indiscreet note-taking, or whispering into a cellphone are required. These reports are never lost or late. No editing corrections needed. And the pay is great. Reimnbursement for all kinds of things I could never otherwise afford, and enough left over to buy a limo of my own. Of course, I will never have to submit a negative report, as this shop is simply perfect!
Thanks to my on-time, error free report, I am asked to re-do this shop every two weeks!
