Now, here is Susan's Poem,
"Mystery Shopper's Blues":
Mystery shopping? Holy cow!
Get paid to shop? I'll sign up now!
So a mystery shopper I became
And I have only myself to blame.
Mystery shopping is usually great -
getting paid to eat, getting paid to rate.
But sometimes while wearing my mystery shop shoes,
I find myself singing the Shopper's Blues.
I search on the net, and oh, it's a pity ...
there seem to be no jobs left in my city!
I apply here, I apply there,
but so has everyone else on my square.
Just when I have no life, it seems,
I land a job! The job of my dreams!
Or maybe not ... oh ... I must remember 10 people by name??!
Buy a car AND RETURN IT? Now that's pretty lame!
I go to my job - the requirements I'll meet.
I remind my dear husband - HEY! SAVE THAT RECEIPT!
We smile cause we know I'm just "paying my dues",
And all the while singing the Mystery Shopper's Blues.
Too fun!
