February/March 2003 Contest Winner:
Hi shoppers, we'd like to announce the winner of the Feb./Mar. 2003 PSS shopper contest.
Our contest in Feb./Mar. was to tell us if you ever got "busted" as a mystery shopper. We enjoyed reading your entries.

Winning Feb/Mar. entry:
"I was conducting an audit for Microsoft regarding XBox at Media Play in Mishawaka, IN. As I asked the three mystery shop questions and proceeded to explain my reason for the questions as instructed, the Store Manager approached me during this interaction and began screaming at me. She ranted and raved about how I had no business in the store and I was stealing company secrets!!! She yelled at me to get out or the police would be called. She then went to get the General Manager.
The General Manager came over and told me since I did not have clearance from the corporate office I had to leave. I explained why I was there and showed her my papers stating I had been assigned to conduct this audit but she wouldn't hear of it. I respectfully left the store (I had all my questions answered by this time...LOL).
Here is where it got amusing......As I was exiting the store, the associate with whom I interacted with regarding my questions, snuck up to me and handed me a note and ran off. I went to my car and read my note. It read, 'Hey, how do I get a job like yours? I hate this place!' "
