PSS Feedback Forum
This group has been set up as a feedback forum for Palm Scheduling Services mystery shoppers and merchandisers. This is where we address all PSS questions, issues and concerns.
MARCH 2004: PSS joined the Marketing Research Association (www.mra-net.org) Cheryl and Lila attended their Las Vegas convention March 3-5. We met many wonderful company owners and had a great time.
APRIL 2004: PSS was represented at the first NCPMS shopper/merchandiser convention by 2 of our schedulers: Debby Greenberg and Angela Smith. We sponsored a shopper's attendance at the convention and the lucky winner was Nancy Bennett!
Schedulers
Blues
By Cheryl Durbin
Hi shoppers,
Here is the poem I wrote about having the scheduler's blues!
I wrote it last summer when a lot of shoppers were canceling.
This is just in case you want to "walk on the other side!!"
:)
SCHEDULER'S BLUES
BY CHERYL DURBIN
Oh woe is me, oh woe is me,
The shoppers are flaking out, you see!
They all said "yes" when they meant "no",
Now I can't find anyone else to go!
It must be summer, it must be June,
If they were us they'd sing another tune!
They're always clamoring for their check,
But when they flake out, you know I'm a wreck!
They cancel in the East and they cancel in the West,
And disappearing is what they do best!
Their word means nil, because they say...
"My car broke down along the way".
"My kids are sick, the house is a mess,
you'll find someone else, I'm under duress".
Or the very best of all,
Is when they don't even bother to call!
I'm posting and posting and posting like crazy,
`Cause some chick from Wichita was just too lazy!
I'm pulling my hair, my stomach's in a knot,
Because that mystery shopper claims they "forgot"!
The client is mad, the shop sits undone,
But didn't we once think scheduling would be fun!!
So, c'mon, you shoppers, let's get it in gear,
I've got 16,000 more shops to schedule this year!!
